Fildena Professional, containing Sildenafil Citrate as active ingredient, is used in treatment for Erectile Dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping achieve and maintain an erection. Sildenafil Citrate in Fildena Professional is a Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor.

Dosage and direction

Fildena Professional should always be consumed as per instructions provided by your healthcare provider. The general guidelines for taking Fildena Professional are: Take Fildena Professional about 60 minutes before indulging in sexual activity; Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush, chew, or break it; It can be taken with or without food, but taking it on an empty stomach may help in its faster absorption; Do not take more than one tablet of Fildena Professional within a 24-hour period.

Precautions

Since Fildena Professional is not recommended for women, there is limited data on its safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding women. It's essential to avoid using medications not prescribed by a healthcare provider during pregnancy.
Avoid or limit consumption of alcohol and grapefruit juice while taking Fildena Professional, as they may cause side effects like dizziness or prolonged erection.

Contraindications

Fildena Professional is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Sildenafil. It is also contraindicated in patients with pulmonary veno-occlusive disease, stomach ulcer, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, patients who had a heart attack, heart failure, angina, irregular heartbeat, stroke, chest pain, high or low blood pressure, high cholesterol, bleeding disorder, blood circulation problems, blood cell problems such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, eye disease or diabetes.

Possible side effect

Some of these Fildena Professional side effects include: Flushing; Headache; Dizziness; Stuffy nose; Ringing or buzzing in ears; Muscle pain.

Drug interaction

Avoid taking nitrates (isordil) with Fildena Professional. It may affect the safety and effectiveness of Sildenafil.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Fildena Professional, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

Overdose

In case you accidentally take an overdose of Fildena Professional and experience severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor. Strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
